Twining Enterprise is delighted to have strengthened its partnership with Healthvision UK – a leading home healthcare provider – opening up a range of job opportunities for Twining Enterprise clients in the care sector.

Established in New Zealand in 1998, Healthvision provides home care to around 800 clients across the London Boroughs of Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, Brent and Hounslow.  Following a downturn in job applications due to the pandemic, yet still faced with an ever-growing demand for compassionate care workers, Healthvision are keen to work with Twining Enterprise to recruit sensitive and empathic carers for their clients.

Ahmad Hasan, HR Manager at Healthvision said, “We are primarily looking for people with an aptitude for caring.  Previous experience can be useful, but we mainly look for candidates that are interested in being a carer and have a kind and empathic outlook towards caring for others.  If we would entrust you to take care of our parents, then we know we want to learn more about you!  Healthvision will provide all the technical training, guidance and support you’ll need to become fantastic carers.”

To apply for a role with Healthvision you just need to send in your CV; if it looks like you have potential you will be invited for an interview, which also involves a basic Maths and English test.  If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete a 5-day training course, which is currently being done virtually with one day in the office enabling opportunity to work with the caring equipment.  Upon passing this you will be awarded a Level 1 and Level 2 certificate and be signed up to start work.  Newly trained carers will begin by shadowing an experienced care worker in the field, and once they feel confident, they can begin making visits on their own.

Employer Engagement Manager at Twining Enterprise, said, “We are excited to be working with such a flexible and open-minded employer.  Healthvision recruit on the potential they see in people – not what they have or haven’t done in previous jobs.  They also welcome people from a diverse range of backgrounds and ages – currently having employees aged 19 to 80 years!  They also welcome people who have struggled with their mental health and do not view it as a barrier to employment, which is an incredibly refreshing attitude!”

Healthvision pay a London living wage, offer permanent 30-hour contracts for carers willing to work evenings and weekends, as well as offering long-term part-time work, and also provide a range of opportunities for career progression.
