Introduction

Twining Enterprise is a London-based mental health charity dedicated to supporting individuals with mental health conditions in finding and maintaining employment. We are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in our operations and supply chains and have zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking in any form.

This voluntary statement, prepared in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, outlines our efforts to prevent, identify, and address modern slavery and human trafficking risks within our organization and supply chains.

Our Organization and Supply Chains

Twining Enterprise operates primarily within the mental health and employment sectors in London, partnering with various stakeholders, including employers, healthcare providers, charitable organisations and government agencies. Our supply chains involve the procurement of goods and services, such as office supplies, IT equipment, and training materials, from a range of suppliers.

Policies and Procedures

Our Modern Slavery Policy, which is applicable to all employees, contractors, and volunteers, sets out our commitment to combating modern slavery and human trafficking. Additionally, we have implemented other policies and procedures relevant to this issue,

Due Diligence and Risk Management

Due to the nature of our business, we assess ourselves to have a low risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains. We apply a risk-based approach to identify and mitigate modern slavery risks in our operations and supply chains which includes, selection of recognised suppliers, confirming suppliers commitment to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and inclusion of such in contractual terms and conditions where required. As part of our annual audit process, an evaluation of suppliers is conducted.

Training and Awareness

We recognize that awareness and understanding of modern slavery risks are crucial to preventing and addressing this issue. Therefore, we provide targeted training to employees and volunteers.
