You guided me gently yet thoroughly

Nazima was suffering with depression and had no confidence in herself at all.  Thankfully, she found her way to Twining Enterprise and her Employment Specialist, Najla, who “gently yet thoroughly” supported her by developing Nazima’s job searching skills.  She now feels her prospect of getting a job has improved!  Nazima wrote to Najla to give her feedback about the service she received, and you can read what she said below…

“I would like to thank you immensely for the service you provided through Twining.  It has been a journey, the first day I met you I was in pieces and totally broken with no confidence in myself at all. Your kind and sympathetic very first meeting was uplifting and gave me hope. This hope eventually helped me come out of my depression. You guided me gently yet thoroughly and have made me capable of understanding the nuances of how to go about writing C.V. cover letters, looking for jobs and appearing for interviews. 

The sessions gave me lots of confidence, before I was ignorant about how a C.V. is written and how to prepare for my interview given that I recently migrated and had freshly started to look for work.  I think my prospects of getting a job has improved a lot.  Najla was very motivating and supportive. I got to learn a lot from Najla.  She was understanding and empathetic towards me and my needs.  I am encouraged and looking forward to working.”
