Working hard to change her future for the better!
Alyaa was depressed and felt like she could not do anything for herself, or for her family. However, after being referred to Twining Enterprise for help, and meeting Senior Employment Specialist Debra, she re-discovered her positive energy and now has a job that makes her feel like she can start to build a future again! Here Alyaa tells us about her experience in her own words…
“I just want to talk about my journey with Twining Enterprise, when I was really depressed and felt like I could not do anything for myself and my family.
Then I started my journey with Twining as a referral from my psychologist, I spoke with a great person which is Debra Charles, she was a really spectacular person and a good listener and always supported me and advised me to keep on. She always gave me a positive energy that makes me go on.
Twining changed my life to make it better. By helping me and my family. By helping me to find a suitable job for me. Keep me positive and enthusiastic about my future. Opened my mind to different aspects to achieve my dream and build my future.
I’m smiling again… I believe in myself again.
Thank you, Debra that you believe in me. Thank you for all your time and efforts to help me. Thank you so much.
Thank you, Twining Enterprise.”
We also spoke to Senior Employment Specialist, Debra, who explained,
“It was such a pleasure working with Alyaa – seeing her grow in confidence as we worked together and to see her independently apply and successfully find a job that suited her and her family. As a Senior Employment Specialist at Twining Enterprise, I have seen how good work brings people purpose, meaning, identity and a structure to their day, which can be such important factors in how we feel about ourselves.
Equally important is the ability in imparting resources and tools enabling someone to feel they have the confidence to make those changes and adjustments, that sees them moving forward towards achieving their goals. I couldn’t be happier that Alyaa now feels she has a brighter future.”
